Excited to have a new vintage out after not bottling any Kendric Pinot in '20 (smoke) and '21 (drought). This one passed the quality control department with flying colors.

Kendric Vineyards - 2022 Petaluma Gap | Marin Pinot Noir

This is kind of a throwback vintage. It reminds me of the very pretty 2006 and 2008, both in its general elegance and in some of it's specific notes -- rose, tea, sandalwood, anise, sassafras. It's predominantly the more delicate Mt. Eden/37 Clone which showed most brightly in this vintage.
